Hello – It’s been a while! I’m back today with a quick review of some Musesonly clothing I bought over the summer.
Musesonly is an athleisure clothing brand that I kept seeing on my Instagram feed. I knew nothing of them but was immediately interested in their stylish designs and pretty pastel coloured clothing.
They have a TON of reviews, especially those with customer pictures. I saw many comments comparing them to Lululemon in terms of quality and functionality. Not sure how credible all the sources were, but seeing that their prices were definitely less than Lulu, plus they had many on-sale items in the C$10 – $30 range, it was worth a try. I’ve always wanted a pair of Fast and Free shorts from Lulu, but was not interested in the C$74 price tag, so I thought maybe I could find a cheaper alternative here.
And yes! They have all kinds of shorts and other athletic gear, with styles similar to Lulu, and names even the same as some of Lulu’s stuff (E.g. Align shorts, energy bra, etc), but also plenty of their own styles too.
I ended up purchasing these Musesonly biker shorts (with pockets) below.
Unfortunately, I could not locate the emails from this purchase. It looks like they are now discontinued on their website anyway, but they have plenty of other similar alternatives you can purchase.
As these shorts are discontinued, I won’t spend too much time on them. They are super comfy but the waistband is not elastic so it’s a bit difficult to take off. Not a big issue for me, but what bugged me more is that they are quite hot and would bunch up in ways that my Fast and Free shorts (which I later purchased) did not.
Despite all that, I still find myself reaching for them often as they are a nice length and I love the handy pockets. 🙂
Musesonly Tetralogy Crop Tank
The second time I ordered from them was on July 3rd. This time I have my emails from the order saved so I can talk about delivery times.
So I saw this super cute bra tank on the model on the homepage of the website and it was just calling my name!!
The back was gorgeous and reminded me of the Free to Wild bra from Lululemon. There weren’t many reviews on this item as it was new, but overall it was positive.
Delivery took a month to get to Canada (order placed on July 3rd and arrived on August 7th). They were shipping from China so they was expected. Many other international reviews also reported delivery time of 1 month.
In terms of quality, it’s amazing! It is super soft and reminds me of the Nulu fabric from Lulu. This light pink colour was also surprisingly sweat-proof and hardly showed any sweat-stains. I’ve been consistently wearing and washing this bra since the summer and there has been no issues with pilling or seams coming apart.
It is so comfy that I wear it on a daily basis, not just for workouts. The extra fabric under the bra itself is like the long-line bras from Lulu, but I love that this fabric is nice and soft so it doesn’t bother me like some of the ones from Lulu does.
In terms of pricing, it’s listed at C$42 at the moment. It’s pricey but the quality and style is comparable to Lululemon items so it is a cheaper alternative if the month long delivery time is not a problem for you.
If you’re interested, you can check out this bra top here on their website.
Overall I had a really pleasant time shopping with Musesonly. The only thing they can improve on is speeding up the delivery process, but I understand that due to Covid, there’s not much that can be done at the moment. They have a large selection and variety of unique and stylish items so I urge you to check them out this holiday season if you haven’t already!

Wherever you’re reading from, I hope you and your family are staying healthy and safe during the pandemic. 🙂
